Summer has definitely started threatening to come out around here. School is out and people are beginning to wear shorts again. It’s also that time of year when many of you are preparing for the school year ahead. In celebration of the ol’ summer vacation, we want to remind you about Canon’s discount codes. Canon offers bulk discounts as well as special discounts for homeschoolers, homeschool co-ops, churches, and schools. If you fall into one of these categories, send us an email (orders@canonpress.org) with your contact info and we’ll create an online discount code for you.

Also, if you aren’t already familiar with CanonWired, we invite you to check it out. We’re making selected new and old media available “free of charge.“ We upload video and audio of the weekly sermons as well as various other fun clips on a regular basis. There’s always something new so check it out and tell a friend!
We hope you enjoy these summer breaks! Have any comments or suggestions? Let us know.

For several years Canon Press has recorded Pastor Doug Wilson’s sermons at Christ Church (Moscow, ID) and made them available for purchase on CD or (more recently) for free through an online podcast.
We wanted to let you know that we’ve now begun doing the same for Pastor Toby Sumpter’s sermons at Trinity Reformed Church (also in Moscow). The sermons from both churches are available from our Online Sermons page—there you can either manually download the MP3s (along with sermon outlines), or you can subscribe to the iTunes podcast and let that handy program do all the collection work for you.
If you would rather have a CD copy of the sermon, you can always feel free to email us or give us a call (800.488.2034)—Emily (or whoever else might happen to answer the phone) would be more than happy to help you.

We (that is, Canon Press) have come to a fork in the road. Or maybe it’s a crossroads. Whatever it is, it’s a point where we’ve been forced to stop and re-evaluate what exactly it is that we do. (more…)
