Kirkers Read Podcast 8: Scripture’s Imprint on the Huguenot Heritage w/ Francis Foucachon

Francis Foucachon joins Ben Zornes to discuss Scripture’s imprint and impact in the lives of the Huguenot reformers and families in the 16th and 17th centuries. Francis explains how the Bible was the center of their lives and so treasured that they were willing to die in order to keep them. He also shares two very interesting places where Huguenots would hide their Bibles from the dragoons.

Fast forward to today and there are 300 million people in the world who speak French and the Church in Francophone West Africa is rapidly growing. However, these new believers and pastors desperately need biblical teaching and theological education in their own language. In partnership with Third Millennium Ministries, Francis explains how he has been laboring to provide solid resources for the French-speaking Church worldwide.

Francis is an elder at Christ Church and began Huguenot Heritage in partnership with Third Millennium Ministries in order to “equip French-speaking layman and pastors in practical theology to be God’s instrument to bring about a new Reformation and Revival.”
